Negli anni Settanta, il primo maggio fu una ricorrenza stantia e anche un po’ gaglioffa. Stantia, perché le lotte operaie – e la politica, e la vita in genere – se ne tenevano scrupolosamente alla larga. In quelle adunate prive di ogni allegria, c’era soltanto il sindacato in quanto istituzione nevralgica dello Stato keynesiano.
